Originally from San Luis Obispo, I’ve been calling Portland home since 2016. Behind the chair, I specialize in androgenous and masculine haircuts. My preferences are fades, scissor work, alternative haircuts, hot towel razor shaves and perms. Basically, anything that lets me combine precision with creativity. Outside the shop, you’ll usually find me at shows, in a restaurant and hanging with friends and family. My goal is always to make every client feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their look.

Hi my name is Pj. I’ve been a licensed barber for 4 years. I specialize in scissor work and fades, but love experimenting with creative haircuts. I am experienced in working with different styles and hair textures. I spend much of my free time with my partner and 2 dogs. Together we enjoy trying new foods and making my family’s recipes from scratch such as salsas and tortillas. My hobbies include training Muay Thai and shooting film whenever possible. I moved to the PNW 6 years ago, right when I kicked off my hair career. Lucky for you, I'm a bit of a perfectionist! My goal is for your hair to work for you, and not be something that you have to constantly fuss with. I love fun hair. For cuts, anything with texture; fades, mullets, shags, pixies, mixies, curly cuts. For color; color blocking, vivids, balayage, bright blondes, and I'm a sucker for ginger hair. But really, I just want you to be excited about your hair, whatever that means for you. Outside work, I collect hobbies like it's going out of style, and love to binge watch horror movies.
